Theresa May under pressure to launch Tory islamophobia inquiry as anti-Muslim attacks spike

The Muslim Council of Britain has written to Theresa May, urging the Prime Minister to launch an inquiry into Conservative Party islamophobia.
As the Burqa scandal enters its second week, Boris Johnson still refuses to apologize for the comments made in his Telegraph column.
While Johnson is under internal investigation, which was triggered by Conservative Party Chairman Brandon Lewis, it is unlikely he will face any reprimand.
The MCB, which is an umbrella body of over 500 mosques, schools and associations, has repeatedly called for an inquiry.
