A Russian businessman has agreed to hire and pay all 62,000 of McDonald's employees in the country following the fast-food chain's exit

McDonald's has sold all of its restaurants in Russia to a local businessman, it said Thursday.
Part of the deal involves the businessman continuing to pay the fast-food chain's employees.
McDonald's has around 62,000 employees and nearly 850 restaurant locations.
