Mastercard is launching a payment system that allows customers to pay by smiling or waving their hands at checkout

Shoppers in Brazil will be the first to pilot the new system this week.
The system allows customers to pay by waving their hand over a reader or smiling at a camera at checkout.
Payments may be more secure and fast, but similar systems have yielded civil rights concerns.
