22 animals up for adoption after being rescued from Brighton ‘hoarding house'

Nearly two dozen animals rescued from a Brighton “hoarding house” are now up for adoption, the MSPCA said Wednesday.
The 21 cats and one dog were seized on July 31 by Boston Animal Control and taken to the MSPCA-Angell's Boston adoption center in Jamaica Plain.
The animals were voluntarily surrendered by their owner, who has not been identified and faces no charges, the MSPCA said.
“This is one of those cases where the animals began to multiply and their owner got overwhelmed and could no longer care for them,” said Anna Rafferty-Arnold, associate director of the MSPCA's Boston adoption...
