Donald Trump has selected Judge Amy Coney Barrett as his nominee to the US Supreme Court to fill the seat left vacant following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
Trump vowed last week that he would nominate a woman for the vacancy within a week, saying he had an “obligation” to act without delay.
