NH governor urges state to stay at home; orders business shutdown

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu on Thursday issued a stay-at-home order and shuttered nonessential businesses until May 4 starting Friday night in response to the widening spread of the coronavirus.
“We cannot stress this enough. You should stay at your house unless absolutely necessary,” said Sununu. “Of course we will not prevent you from leaving your home to go on a walk or when going to the store, or if you need groceries or are simply going to work. But beyond essential necessities, you should not be leaving your home.”
