UAlbany preps for Halloween weekend

ALBANY - City police and the University at Albany are taking steps to try and prevent a coronavirus outbreak due to Halloween parties this weekend, including an increased presence in student neighborhoods.
In an email earlier this week to off-campus neighbors, the university said it was determined not to backslide after beating back an early spike in cases. It recognized that the Halloween weekend was a tempting opportunity for parties and the risks that could bring during the last month of in-person classes this semester.
