Park honoring Boston Marathon bombing victim Martin Richard opens

Hundreds showed up Saturday morning to the grand opening of a park in the Seaport dedicated to the youngest victim of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.
Martin's Park, named in memory of 8-year-old Martin Richard, is on the waterfront next to the Boston Children's Museum and features an accessible playground, water play garden, amphitheater, a pirate ship and plenty of open space.
Martin, a Dorchester native, was the youngest of the three people killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, when two bombs exploded near the finish line. His younger sister, Jane, lost a leg.
