2 injured after roller coaster derails on boardwalk in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Two people were hurt after a roller coaster malfuncted in Daytona Beach Thursday evening.
The Daytona Beach News Journal reported that two people were ejected and fell to the ground when the roller coaster went off the track. Officials said the two were alert and not seriously hurt.
The Daytona Beach Fire Department tweeted photos and videos of the accident. They said they were working to rescue the people who were stuck in a dangling roller coaster car.
Several more riders were stuck as technicians worked to fix the ride.
