Amid bail reform, 3 state GOP lawmakers want to expand privacy protections to first responders

ALBANY - Three Republican lawmakers in the Capital Region want to make changes to the criminal justice reforms enacted this year by expanding privacy protectios to first responders and their families. Sen. Jim Tedisco, R-Glenville, and Assembly members Dan Stec, R-Queensbury, and Mary Beth Walsh, R-Ballston, on Thursday introduced legislation that would give greater privacy protections for emergency first responders and their families who respond to crime scenes.
