Carjacking suspect injured after encounter with police officers: State Police

A suspect accused of multiple carjackings was injured when police officers approached the person at a gas station on Sunday and shots were fired, according to State Police.
No police officers were hurt, according to an initial report from State Police.
The suspect had allegedly stolen a BMW from a Nashua, N.H., dealership earlier on Sunday. When officers found the suspect near Prime Gas Station on Central Street in Byfield, “a weapon or weapons were discharged,” a police spokesman said in a statement.
