The controversial Weymouth natural gas compressor station is expected to start flowing gas to its customers within days, a company spokesman said Saturday.
“The compressor station will methodically be placed in service beginning today, in accordance with applicable regulations and with oversight from PHMSA (the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration),” Enbridge spokesman Max Bergeron said in an email. “We expect to have the ability to start flowing gas through the compressor station for our customers in the coming days.”
