Kushner confirms he met with Kanye West amid scrutiny of rapper's 2020 campaign

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner confirmed Thursday that he had a “friendly discussion” with rapper Kanye West in Colorado last weekend, but did not say whether they discussed the rapper's presidential campaign.
“So, Kanye's been a friend of mine for - I've known him for about 10 years. And, you know, we talk every now and then about different things. And we both happened to be in Colorado, and so we got together,” Kushner told reporters at a White House news briefing.
