St. John's Prep stays alive in Super 8 tournament

BROCKTON - St. John's Prep kept their Super Eight title hopes alive in a 4-3 elimination nail-biter over BC High.
Will Frain took care of things at the plate for the No.2 seeded Eagles going 2-for-2 with 3 RBI including a RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth that proved to be the game-winner out of the cleanup spot for St. John's Prep.
With the win, the Eagles (20-3) advance to the finals of the one-loss bracket to face Walpole (18-5) this Sunday at noon. Walpole knocked St. John's Prep out of the winner's bracket in a 7-2 win earlier in the tournament adding a little flavor to the...
