Woman killed in Boston, the city's 7th reported slaying in a week

A woman was shot to death early Sunday morning in Dorchester, according to police who reported the seventh killing in Boston during the last week of violence in the city.
Police arrested Kristian Maraj, 22, of Dorchester, for the slaying. Maraj is being charged with murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
At about 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 37 Stonehurst St. in Dorchester.
