Mary V. Sampson of Whitman, at 86

Mary V. Sampson of Whitman, formerly of Brockton, died Thursday, Feb. 14. She was 86.
Born and raised in Brockton, Mrs. Sampson was a graduate of the former St. Patrick High School.
She was a longtime resident of Brockton and worked as an account analyst for Bradlees.
Mrs. Sampson lived in Whitman for the past 15 years.
She loved to sew, crochet, was an avid reader and enjoyed ceramics.
She was happy to share her talents with gifts for her many friends' family members.
She was happiest spending time surrounded by her large family.
