Jayme Closs was suspect Jake Patterson's main target, sheriff says

Barron County authorities said Friday that 13-year-old Jayme Closs was the main target of the man suspected in her kidnapping and the murders of her parents.
Authorities arrested Jake Thomas Patterson, a 21-year-old from Gordon, Wis., on Thursday and are holding him on suspicion of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for the murders of James and Denise Closs and one count of kidnapping. He is being held in the Barron County Jail and has not yet been charged.
