Although anything can happen, there is a clear favorite in Saturday's Div. 2 state title game between King Philip and Catholic Memorial.
The latter, which is riding a 28-game winning streak, beat the former in last year's Div. 2 final, and most expect the Knights to do so again.
But the Warriors hung tight with CM for most of last year's game, a 42-18 final, and KP coach Brian Lee knows what his team is up against on 8 p.m. at Gillette Stadium.
“Don't mind being underdogs,” Lee said. “Don't mind flying under the radar. But just wish in this case, the opponent wasn't quite so daunting.”
