Prudente concludes her dominant run with a South sectional tennis title

MATTAPOISETT - There is a hidden gem in Hingham and it's not from Hingham Jewelers.
Sophomore Alex Prudente of Norte Dame Academy-Hingham captured the 2019 South Sectional singles title with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Kelly Klaren of Martha's Vineyard at Old Rochester High School.
Prudente's amazing run to the title includes a 13-0 regular season record while losing only four games all season for the Cougars. Head coach Jenn Sherman credits her maturity in reaching the upper echelon this season.
