ABU DHABI - Max Holloway is throwing his name into the hat.
Following his dominant UFC on ABC 1 unanimous decision win over Calvin Kattar , Holloway expressed interest in serving as a backup fighter for the UFC 257 pay-per-view next Saturday.
UFC lightweight contenders Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler, and Dan Hooker are all set to compete at the event - four of the five competitors Nurmagomedov recently expressed potential interest in coming out of retirement to fight.

Max Holloway returned to the win column on Saturday when he beat fellow contender Calvin Katta r in the UFC on ABC 1 main event.
Holloway earned the first headlining victory on network television during the UFC's Disney era when he shut down Kattar by incredibly one-sided unanimous decision in Abu Dhabi. With the win, the former champ snapped a two-fight losing skid, both of which came in title fights to Alexander Volkanovski.
