SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. - The Latest on the U.S. Open's first round Thursday : 8:30 p.m. Dustin Johnson, Ian Poulter, Scott Piercy and Russell Henley were tied at 1-under-69 as the first round of the U.S. Open concluded. Shinnecock Hills got the best of many of the world's top players, including Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. But Johnson and company held a one-stroke lead over Jason Dufner. The rest of the field was over par. 6:35 p.m.
