Bruins pregame notes: Big storm coming with Hurricanes

The Bruins swept away the upstart Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Finals last season.
Since then, the Hurricanes have responded with a strong start to the season, maybe against expectations. They're stopping pucks, and while their streaks have been inconsistent, they've found a way to be in playoff positioning as a wild card if the season ended today.
The Bruins, of course, have climbed to the top of the NHL overall with 43 points, tied with the Capitals - but with a game in hand - for the most in the NHL.
Even without Patrice Bergeron the past week-plus, the Bruins offense has played well, coming from behind in three straight contests, including on Sunday night against the Canadiens. Of course, they'd love to play with a lead and avoid such dramatics, but points are points, especially still relatively early in the season.
