Groups: Halt Boston school closings

Nearly a dozen organizations are calling for a moratorium on the closures of three BPS schools until the full BuildBPS plan can be released, debated and approved. The groups - consisting of organizations such as the NAACP, the Citizen's for Public Schools, Harbor Point Task Force and more - say the School Committee hasn't released the appropriate amount of information to allow students, families and the communities to understand the vision of BuildBPS. They also say the district needs to keep the school communities intact.
