A Baltimore police officer has been put on paid leave after he was filmed repeatedly punching a man and knocking him to the ground

A Baltimore police officer was put on paid leave on Saturday after a recording surfaced showing him repeatedly punching a man during a confrontation.
The recording lasts about 30 seconds, and the city's interim police commissioner said the video "deeply disturbed" him.
Warren Brown, an attorney for the man who was knocked down, identified his client as 26-year-old DaShawn McGrier.
Brown said his client faces charges for assaulting the officer, whom he identified as Arthur Williams, in June - charges McGrier is contesting in court.
