President Donald Trump teased Sunday he is “still thinking about the State of the Union speech,” tweeting that “there are so many options” to deliver his remarks after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asked him to postpone the address as long as the federal government remains closed. “Nancy, I am still thinking about the State of the Union speech, there are so many options - including doing it as per your written offer (made during the Shutdown, security is no problem), and my written acceptance,” the president wrote online. “While a contract is a contract, I'll get back to you soon!” Pelosi on Wednesday requested that the president reschedule his annual speech or submit it in writing, citing security concerns exacerbated by the ongoing government shutdown, which entered its 30th day on Sunday.
