Today is Black women's Equal Pay Day. This calendar shows the visceral way the gender pay gap affects all races

August 13 is "equal pay day" for Black women in the US.
That is, that calendar date marks the day when the typical Black female worker would have earned as much in 2019 and 2020 as the typical white male worker would have earned in 2019 alone.
The gender gap in the US persists for all women, but it varies widely among different racial and ethnic groups.
