Robin Birley to open dining club on Upper East Side

Famed British club manager Robin Birley is making his next move in New York City: a dining club on the Upper East Side. Birley signed a lease for a two-story, 12,000-square foot space at 828 Madison Avenue, the New York Post reported. The building, owned by the Reuben Brothers, formerly housed the Westbury Hotel. The financial terms were not disclosed for the 20-year lease, which has an option for the club to tack on another
