The US economy has undergone massive ups and downs throughout the last two decades, and through it all, for better or for worse, Janet Yellen was one of the leaders steering America through it.
The current Treasury Secretary was also both the Federal Reserve Chair and the Chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisors. The only person to hold all three roles.
