The FAA's new rule mandating flight attendants get more rest between flights could mean less flexibility and additional costs for airlines

The Federal Aviation Administration announced a new rule on Tuesday that extends flight attendant rest.
The new rule mandates flight attendants to get 10 hours between shifts instead of the former nine hours.
Aviation lawyer Ken Quinn told Insider that the rule could impact airline flexibility and add costs.
