The city's omnibus $350 million APRA package will wait at least two more weeks to pass after a fuming Councilor Frank Baker, who suggested that the mayor is “stuck up,” got his way to include an amendment that the administration apparently has vowed will bring about a veto.
The council had been expected to pass the huge package allocating the federal pandemic relief dollars that the city received, with much of it going to housing, some to business development and continued anti-COVID efforts and others to various other initiatives.
