Police searching for South Boston in connection with hit-and-run

A 60-year-old woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after a driver hit her while she was crossing the street in South Boston and drove off, police said.
The woman was crossing Day Boulevard in the area of K Street shortly after 7:15 a.m. Monday when she was struck by a car traveling toward L Street, according to State police. She was taken to a Boston hospital where she currently remains.
The vehicle is believed to be a silver or light beige, mid-to-late-2000s Lincoln Town Car with damage on the front driver's side and a broken off side-view mirror, police said. The sedan also has...
