UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Iran was responsible for the September 14 attack on a Saudi oil facility and said his government would consider joining a US-led military effort.
The attack on the oil facilities wiped out half out about 5% of the world's daily production of crude oil. Yemen's Houthi rebel group claimed responsibility for the attacks, though the US and Saudi Arabia have pointed a finger towards Iran. Iran has denied the claims .

NEW YORK - Britain has concluded that Iran was responsible for attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Sunday. He said the U.K. would consider taking part in a U.S.-led military effort to bolster the Gulf kingdom's defenses.
But the Conservative prime minister also said the U.K. would work with allies to "de-escalate" Middle East tensions that have soared since the Sept. 14 attack on the world's largest oil processor and an oil field.
