BC football coach Jeff Hafley signed a 5-year contract extension

Boston College football coach Jeff Hafley hit the recruiting trail in a more secure place on Tuesday after signing a five-year contract extension through the 2026 season.
The terms of the new contract were not disclosed, but Hafley was reportedly making $3 million per season under the old deal he signed on Dec. 14, 2019.

BOSTON - Boston College coach Jeff Hafley has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in Chestnut Hill through 2026.
The Eagles qualified for a bowl game for the second straight year despite finishing the regular season with back-to-back losses, including a 41-10 loss to No. 18 Wake Forest. BC, which opted to skip a bowl game after the pandemic-interrupted 2020 season, awaits its matchup for this year.
