After record season, Miami Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle gets a display at Pro Football Hall of Fame
Jaylen Waddle is the latest Dolphin to get into the the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
At least his jersey is.
On Jan. 9, Waddle set the NFL record for receptions in a season by a rookie. On Friday, the shrine in Canton, Ohio, announced that the throwback jersey he wore that day would be on display.
Waddle, who finished the season with 104 receptions for 1,015 yards and six touchdowns, broke an 18-year-old record held by Pahokee legend Anquan Boldin. In 2003, Boldin caught 101 passes for 1,377 yards and eight touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Dolphins linebacking great Zach Thomas has hopes of becoming the 17th Dolphins player coach or executive to earn enshrinement when the final voting results are announced on Feb. 10, three days before the Super Bowl in Los Angeles.
