Celtics explode with 145-117 win over Portland

When Payton Pritchard hit his fifth and final 3-pointer of the night to drizzle off garbage time, the Celtics bench, led by the starters, collapsed in comedy.
Dennis Schroder fell onto his back along the sideline, with Enes Kanter Freedom pantomiming an attempt to resuscitate his fallen teammate. The sketch got out of hand, Schroder was assessed a meaningless technical foul, and Ime Udoka later apologized to Blazers coach Chauncey Billups. Udoka even had to tell Pritchard to finally stop and dribble out the clock after the second-year guard missed three 3-pointer attempts in a late three-shot possession.
“Got a little out of hand to some extent with our guys getting over-zealous and getting a technical,” said the Celtics coach. “I told them in the locker room to keep that professional. Payton is a young guy who's shooting it well and playing well, and what we would have liked to do is slow that down.
